I absolutely love blueberries. They are one of my favorite snacks, and they're in season now! You might be wondering why, and I'll tell you. There's plenty of benefits to eating blueberries regularly. These little berries are packed with iron, zinc, calcium, vitamin K, so they are great for keeping your bones strong. Blueberries are also great for your heart, blood pressure, and digestive system. One of my favorite perks of this fruit, and the reason I eat blueberries so often, is that they're great for your skin. This tiny fruit is actually great for collagen.
A tasty and simple way to incorporate blueberries into your diet is to add them to your yogurt along with some fresh mint (which is also great for you). This quick blueberry mint salad recipe will take you just two minutes to prepare, but the benefits you will gain from it will last much longer!
