Seared Mushrooms

A plate of Seared Mushrooms

One of my favorite mushroom recipes. You can enjoy seared mushrooms just on there own, or add them to meats and other vegetables. They contain protein, vitamin C and iron but to get the benefits, mushrooms must first be cooked. This is a quick recipe for mushrooms. 


  • 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 8 oz White Mushrooms
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 small Yellow Onion


  1. Heat up 1 Tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
  2. Slice mushrooms, add to the pan. Stir occasionally until mushrooms start to get browned up.
  3. Add chopped yellow onion to the mushrooms. Cook for another 5 minutes.
