Spring Green Salad

A plate of Spring Green Salad

This green salad is a weight loss salad. Green fruits and vegetables are low calorie and high-fiber. They pack in antioxidants, vitamin A and vitamin C. As for the pistachios, they are a plant protein and full of healthy fats.  

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 kiwi
  • 1/2 granny smith apple
  • 1/4 cup pistachios 
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice two avocados and two kiwi. 
  2. Thinly slice 1/2 granny smith apple. 
  3. Chop 1/4 cup of pistachios. 
  4. Combine cup ingredients into a medium bowl. 
  5. Whisk together 1 Tablespoon of honey and juice from 1/2 a lemon, drizzle on top of salad when ready to serve.
