Taking each ingredients apart, we see each one contains so many benefits! Some examples: Beets - heal acne, detoxes the blood, contains anti-aging properties. Carrots- reduce the risk of stroke, prevent cancer, boosts immune system. Apple - give you energy, improve brain function, improve eyesight. Green Onion - anti-viral, prevents arthritis, and kills bacteria. Don't miss out on the vitamins nature has to offer!

Ingredients

  • 1 red beet

  • 2 medium carrots

  • 1 apple

  • 1 stem green onion

  • 2 Tablespoons vinegar

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 Tablespoon cane sugar

  • 1/2 Tablespoon salt

Instructions

  1. Grate 1 red beet, 2 medium carrots, 1 apple, and 1 stem of green onion. ( I used a Julienne slicer)

  2. Dressing: In a saucepan, combine 2 Tablespoons vinegar, 1/2 cup water, 2 Tablespoons of oil, 1/2 Tablespoon sugar, and 1/2 Tablespoon salt; bring all to a boil. Turn off heat and pour over grated ingredients.
