There is a good amount of healthy benefits in coleslaw, especially when there is no sugar involved. Most coleslaw recipes I found had sugar in it, but I am cutting down my sugar intake as much as I can, may be able to even eliminate it from my life completely. There are other healthier alternatives to satisfy a sweet tooth - for example, honey or maple syrup. 1 head green cabbage, shredded
2 carrots, grated
1 cup mayonnaise (avocado mayonnaise if you want dairy free)
3 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 Tablespoons honey
a small pinch of salt
fresh dill (optional)
Combine all ingredients together.
